- Audit Senior – Gloucester Office
The Role
Audit senior heading a small team, reporting to manager and/or directly to partner.
Planning, fieldwork and completion of audit assignments on a diverse portfolio of clients including manufacturing, construction, engineering, charities.
Preparation of accounts in statutory and abridged formats, in compliance with FRS102.
Preparation of Corporation Tax computations, P11d’s
Opportunity to work on project assignments such as Due Diligence, Cash Flows, Budgeting and Management Accounts
Qualifications
We are flexible with the qualification status and will consider an individual who is Qualified, Qualified by experience, or in final stages of Professional examinations.

- Accounts / Audit Assistant – Gloucester Office
The Role
Accounts assistant reporting to manager and directly to partner.
Audit fieldwork, working as part of a small team. Following training, progression to full file completion for smaller audit assignments to include planning and risk assessment.
Preparation of limited company accounts in statutory and abridged formats, in compliance with FRS102 including Section 1A.
Preparation of accounts for sole traders, partnerships and LLP’s.
Preparation of basic Corporation Tax computations.
Assistance in implementation of the firm’s MTD programme, including client training and problem solving.
Opportunity to progress within the firm to progress to more senior audit roles and to assist on special work assignments.
Qualifications
We are flexible with the qualification status and will consider an individual who is part way through AAT or professional examinations, or otherwise has ceased professional training having reached a part qualified status.

- Apprentice – Gloucester Office
We are recruiting to fill an apprenticeship position. The candidate will be looking to undertake Level 4 training (perhaps AAT or ICAEW CFAB) looking to progress to Professional Level 7 for ACA or ACCA qualifications. A full training package is provided as an integral part of this position.
The Role
The apprentice will receive college-based tuition (day or block release) alongside their practical working experience based in the audit and accounts department. The initial part of the training will provide a strong grounding in bookkeeping including operation of packages including Xero, Sage and QuickBooks, followed by full accounts preparation and audit procedures. Progression continues with basic Income and Corporation tax with opportunities for specialist work projects in management accounts, cash flows and other projections, business acquisition / sale work.
Qualifications
Ideally the candidate will be a graduate (relevant or non- relevant degree) but we will consider A level school leavers who demonstrate a clear career path focus.
